Zen-Cart Japanese/English Pull Downs

This tutorial will show you how to add pull down lists for Japanese prefectures. This is a more advanced tutorial, but if you fallow it and do backups of your files/database before hand, there should be no problem.

This was pulled from my old blog as it is still useful to the current Zen-Cart project. It is now PDF. Enjoy!

Note, I don't really recommend Zen-Cart as of now (9.15.2010). I see that they have put out some updates, but I think they are more of security and issues that should have been updated a while ago. We at Alethia now currently have a Ubercart/Drupal Japanese package that we offer. Such sites as www.skinevo.com , www.saitamapack.co.jp are using this and more to come.

If you are interested in that, you can contact us at www.alethia-inc.com . You can still use the Zen-Cart pack if you like, but I don't know if I will support it anymore, maybe when 2.0 comes out. I love the Zen-Cart team. Really, they changed my life. I would do anything for them, no joke, Zen-Team, if you are reading this and need any help at all, we at Alethia would offer what we can. Nothing but love for them, but I just feel Ubercart is currently a better solution. It has issues out of the box, but we have a solution for them at Alethia now and add the power of Drupal to that, well it's just great to work with!
